Memphis Bleek - 534

What can I say about a man who dropped his first album in 1999 - Coming of Age - and six years later is still in the game. Noted he has never shipped massive amounts of albums as some of his more popular peers (Game) but nevertheless he has weathered many beefs, battles, trends, and changes in the industry - most recently the changes at his record label Roc-a-fella - and still managed to come out as a seasoned Rapper. His latest album 543 - named after his building in the Marcy Housing Projects in Brooklyn, NYC - is a return to the beginning. Working with his ROC Familia; Young Guru, Just Blaze, MOP, and The President Carter, he reminds us why he's here, to make music!
