Braids & Beauty Magazine Shoot
Hi Everyone!
I really don't have much to share. Today was a cold and rainy day in NYC and I was happy to stay at home, eat, work and rest. It feels like I have been very busy but I haven't really done much lately. I have been going on many commercial print auditions lately so last week I was out 3 days out of the 5 "hitting the pavement" on the audition/go-see circuit. I spent the weekend doing domestic things, which is good because I need to make sure all aspects of my life are balanced.
This week I was on the commercial print audition/go-see circuit again and I even went to three go-sees for the upcoming shoe expo. I was really blessed to be IMMEDIATELY booked for three days at the top of Dec. for the New York Shoe Expo. If you recall I worked it in the summer and now I will be back again this fall (Good $$$$). I also managed to squeeze in a day of background work on As The World Turns which will air on Dec. 28, 2007 (1 day after my BDay :). I met a really sweet lady named Bettina at ATWT because we shared a dressing room. As background, at All My Children there is one big dressing room for all the ladies but since ATWT is in BK and have more space you usually have your own dressing room or share with another person. Even though it is just background work I still hope that I will get those lines eventually. It has only been 5 months since I have begun this journey FULL time but my goal for the next year is to get more speaking roles.
As you can see my pages have been updated with the pictures from my Braids & Beauty Magazine shoot. I am in two little pictures in the top row of the cover along with pictures inside. Doing this shoot was an extreme pleasure and I feel lucky to have worked with the photographer Alexei Afonin, the coordinator Crystal, the hair stylist Sabine (located in BK), make up artist Tamara and everyone else.
Here are my behind-the-scenes pictures
I guess that is it for now. Many blessings as we go into this holiday season!!!
Holla at me with any ?'s, comments, recommendations or offers. Peace!!!
