Hi Everyone : )
Hi Everyone : )
How are all ya'll doing???? I am up to my usual, same old same old. I just returned on Tuesday from a very nice vacation with my family at home in Orlando. I had a wonderful time and did my favorite things (eat, drink, and laugh). It was great seeing my family and spending special time with them although it went by fast *tear*. Luckily I will get to see them soon again so I am very happy about that!! Since I have returned to the city I have literally hit the ground running. Everyday I have been working doing either modeling or acting work. I am happy of course to have work even though I am tired.
Before I left for Orlando I was lucky to be casted in a Pilot for E! called "Hollywood Make Out Party". Don't ask, I know it sounds super sketchy, hahahahaha, but as a beginner in the industry you have to take the work you can get. I will let you guys know if the Pilot gets picked up and if my episode airs (I will get a copy probably either way, we'll see if I share it).
On set of "Hollywood Make Out Party"
My first day back to work on Wednesday was on the set of the new FX show "Damages" starring Glenn Close. I was contacted the day before to come on and be a "Paralegal". So early Wednesday morning I rolled myself out of bed and headed to Steiner Studios where the series is being produced. I had no idea that NYC had amazing production studios like this place. It is literally like a Hollywood studio lot. The shoot went fine and those actors are the REAL deal. Glenn Close is amazing in person : )
Now as I write I am currently in the window of Henri Bendel on 5th Avenue in NYC. The cafe Chocolate Bar located on the 3rd floor of the store is having a promotion introducing itself to the community since it just opened in May 2007. So I am here in the window like a live mannequin drawing in the crowd. I will be here tomorrow too, the last day, closing it out. If you are in the area come and visit me : )
